Solid interest in the Da Nang property market saw real estate firm Savills Vietnam open a representative office in the city earlier this month.
The agency, which in a statement claimed it is the largest real estate service provider, also aims to grow its business in the Central region of Vietnam.
The new office in Da Nang will offer the full platform of real estate services including: research, valuation and development advisory, commercial and residential property management, office and retail agency services, tenant representation, investment advisory and brokerage, as well as residential project marketing and leasing.
Savills has conducted work for clients in Da Nang since 1995 and has had an increasingly active presence in recent years, being closely associated with some of central Vietnam’s most well-known resort and residential developments. The sizeable existing project marketing team already present in Da Nang will be complemented by a professional management team and office premises.
Making a speech at the event, Chris Marriott, Chief Executive Officer of Savills Southeast Asia, said: “Savills has observed rapid growth in the property market of Central Vietnam, especially the hospitality market.
“For the last few years Da Nang has continued to improve both the investment and business environments, implementing sensible policies to facilitate investment flows to the city. It’s a perfect time for this city to develop other real estate segments.
“Opening a representative office in Da Nang will therefore boost Savills business and raise brand awareness among future partners and clients. The network expansion also creates opportunities for Savills to provide hands-on services to customers not only in Da Nang but also the region”.
