Hoi An property is one to watch

Developments set for Hoi An will be a real game changer for the property market.

Vietnam is on the up. The economy is doing well and the property market is moving. Tourism is however still relatively on the low. The country does see visitors each year who come to explore the country’s numerous attractions, however Vietnam is significantly behind the region’s leader, Thailand, despite the potential it has.

The country is steeped in history as a result of the Vietnam War. There is an abundance of countryside and swathes of beaches. Cultural attractions are a plenty, stunning scenery and some super tasty food. This is exactly why this could be a tipping point for Vietnam. Just recently flights are now coming in from the Middle East direct to Ho Chi Minh City saving tourists having to connect in Bangkok. More hotels are popping up and the infrastructure is improving too.

Those coming to Vietnam typically visit Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi in the north and Hoi An. Hoi An is situated on the coast and is so pretty that it is a UNESCO World Heritage-listed centre. Providing a tranquil place, compared to its counterparts of Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Hoi An receives a lot of attention despite being logistically the hardest to get to due its distance to an international airport.

Situated on the central coast providing a beach getaway as well as as quaint town to explore, its about to change in Hoi An. Recent news has unveiled that Hoi An will be clearly marked in South East Asia’s map as a major beach destination. This is going to be achieved by the birth of ‘Hoiana’.

A joint venture between one of Vietnam’s leading real estate developers, VinaCapital, with Gold Yield Enterprises, a Hong Kong and Macau based gaming giant. Hoiana encompasses a four kilometre stretch of beach frontage just five kilometres outside of Hoi An. Incorporating resorts, hotels residential property, casinos, retail area, golf course and water sports area, this is going to be a huge game changer for Hoi An and Vietnam as a whole.

This development will create a huge window to boast tourism and help strengthen the property market. Investors are advised to keep an eye on the Hoi An as the news is released of Hoiana gracing the shores of Vietnam.
